Used BMW

Mummy has no plan to get you a walker. However, as you grow, mummy see a need for it. You wan to be mobile, make a lot of noise when no one attend to you. Ah Ma have chores to do and she cant attend to you all the time...

*Sigh* Mummy give in.... we din buy a brand new walker, but, get from Chien kor kor an used "BMW" pass down from Jia Shern times. Afterall, you need it for a couple of months. You love it so much and cruise around the house cheerfully.

Haircut

This was your 3rd haircut.

The 1st was on your full moon day. We din bald you b'cos mummy "em seh tak" your soft blonde hair. The chinese believes and practice balding on full moon but nope for you. Anyway, "yi si yi si" Ah Ma (from M'ca) shaved your hair

Your 2nd hair cut was before CNY. We brought you to Miyako salon. Glamour ya... You were coperative. We had an easy time and it cost merely RM3.00

Mummy thot this time, it's an easy slot too. I was wrong. We went to Uncle Man's place. The place daddy goes for his haircut. Auntie Eva trimed your hair. You moved around and it's difficult to cope up with weight, gosh , my arms were stressed. It was FOC.

Your 1st Solid

After we reach home from the camping, mummy decided to launch your 1st solid meal - Heinz rice cereal for dinner. Today is the first day you had solid. I followed the recommended feeding guideline... and I am not suprise it's insufficient for you. You can mam mam alot, sweetie.

You are having fever, very mild fever, I suspect you are teething. Shouldnt be due the camping..

Daddy was sleeping in the room. He had fever too and it's definitely not due to teething or camping, but he was kissed by jelly fish

Picnic turn out to be camping

Uncle Ernie planned to have a camping outting.. and I can tell he wanted daddy to be there, Kerachut bay. The thing is... Ah Ma wanted to join too... So if daddy joined in, mie will be alone taking care of you on the weekend.

To me, I am ok if daddy wants to go, but, I prefer we hang out happy family together. I knew daddy wanted to unwind. So, finally, we decided to go. All of us together, of cos, a happy family, and we brought you too.

After we reached The end of the world.. daddy put you in the carrier bag. We bought specially for this event to safe guard you. We took a boat to Kerachut. You were taking the sea breeze and we all agreed you enjoyed it. Do you ?

Are you glad to be exposed to such experience at a little age? Kai Mah is happy when she received MMS that you were outside exploring the world. We were so happy spending time and have fun. You were happy and to all of us, you are a super baby. You were good, not cranky and easy to handle. By evening, mie and daddy changed our mind. We will put over a nite and have you experience a camping at the age of 6mths old. You are the youngest camper in TCE club. Little junior, are you capable to be Uncle Ernie's succesor?

Oh ya, the nite we had in Kerachut was horrible. Pek Kong and Ming Pek Pek wanted a berlekeh nite and as they wished, we had it. Thunderstorm and lighting nite, with heavy wind and down pour. Mie mie was so dumb. You were soundly asleep in the tent and I din wanna take you out, despite the thunderstorm. I cuddled you tight. Never cross my mind, we are sleeping under the coconut trees and that's dangerous. It was a mess, but you had a lot of news thing experienced in this day - outdoor shower, lying in the haymock and we had it dvd-ed down for you to ponder.

It's weekend again !

Today, it's another fun family activity.

A big group of us, in 4 cars headed to northern state, Kedah. The whole bunch of us - Ah Siang pek pek, Ah Tat pek pek, Sen Kor poh, Sen Teoh Kong, Chien kor kor, Soon Chiang teoh teoh, Little Jia Shern, Ji Kor Poh, Shaene Jeh Jeh and family, Daddy, Mummy, Selinna Cim Cim, Kong Kong and Por Por, we went round Alor Setar, then to Keriang recreational and lastly had dinner at Jitra. Too bad we were late to go round Keriang recreational site. It was close when we arrived.

The sad part is, no one brought camera and mummy thot it was in my bag, but I left it on the table. *sob sob*

Kedah is a state full with paddy field. I like the landscape there. Very peaceful and calm. If we are going there again, I will never forgot to bring a camera to capture some memory.

Am I a Michelin ?

"Amboi, tengok anak kecik ni.... tak tahan dengan kuih lapisnya... emmmm, banyak layer jugak ya.. chut chut.....memang Michelin !"

Goodness, Lynus boy, I hope this is not permanent. Dont be a "tuah pui kiah" when you grow up ya...

Goodness, will I go bald ?

Auntie Shirley, I know you experience hair drop when Rachel was my age. Is it that bad as what my mummy is experiencing ?

If mummies and aunties go bald, I suggest one of your birthday celebration, get wigs for birthday gift. :)

Yippie ! Outting again

This is another picture I love most. It was taken while Por Por is changing you for an outting. 3 of us - you, Por Por and mie mie, went out for lunch at Starview. Sweetie, you are so charming in this pic.

This is taken to capture your lip. You like to ... errr.. how should I explain, fold your lips together. I think you are teething and your gum is itchy.

Butterfly - go away !

Por Por bought you a new toy - animated butterfly with led lights and music when it's switch on. You hate it very much and we wanted to know why. Mie suspected the music and lighthing scares you. Apa le lu... pengecut. No way ya... got to train you to be a bravo...

Look at how you react when we switch on the music and light effect. Muka kesian 20 puluh sen... To us... it's entertaining.. :)

5th months Jab

Ho ho ho.... It's time for your 5th month jab. We have delayed for a week bcos you had fever last week. This round, the nurse measured you height, weight and also head circumference. Wow, you weigh 8.9kg and tall 71cm. Good progress. I am glad Poh Kien® milk go well on you. Keep it up baby !

After taking your measurement, we moved to another room to monitor your motor development. All well done. Next, Por Por held you waiting outside the jab room. You are looking at other victims... Ah ha.. what's in your mind ? - "oh no... is my turn coming next?"

No other same pacifier

Since day one, mummy do not want to give you dummies. Despite family member's sharing - Kong Kong, Kor Poh and Sen Kor Poh said it soothes babies, but, I din get you any. Anyway, today, at your age of 5mths plus, you have your own dummy, your little THUMB.

Holding bottle

You have make it to another milestone - holding your feeding bottle. Mummy prefer holding it for you cos it takes a longer feeding session if you were to hold it. You will have more play time than feeding time, pulling the teat in and out.

We planned to go to Billion shopping centre for Photogenic baby contest with Ayden, but Shila kor kor seh su. She had mastitis. We end up cancelling the plan.

Babies changes rapidly, so is Lynus.

Lately, when mummy's colleague, or some neighbours see you, most of them will say... Little Lynus changes and he resembles his daddy look. Is that so ? To mummy, it's very individual. Whatever it is, like daddy or like mummy, most importantly, Lynus is healthy.

Auntie Keow from NZ

You naughty boy. Auntie Keow tried so hard to take a picture with you, but you were not cooperative. We took a few and mummy feels this is the best.

Fever at 38.8 degree Celcius

Yesterday, around 4pm Ah Ma called mummy's office.

Ah Ma : Pau Chien, Lynus is having running nose.
Mummy : Is it serious ? Any fever?
Ah Ma : No fever.

But 2 hrs later, daddy called and updated mummy Lynus is having fever. 1st temperature taken was 37.4 C. Later, another call came in saying your temperature went up to 38.2 C. Mummy starts to worry and cant concentrate on work.

Mummy packed and left for home. Luckily, the false alarm - penang bridge having bomb - didnt delay my journey. Mummy reached home at 7.20pm. After given you 2.5ml of paracetamol, mum & dad decided to send you to doc. Your PD, Dr Sim isnt around, we sent you to Dr Loh at Batu Lanchang. As ever, you behaved well when doc examine you.

You are given medicines for cough, phelgm, flu and fever.

P/S : I suspect your teeth is coming out soon and last nite, I dreamt of your 2 front down incisor. It's awful, both were not together. There is big gap in between. Cross my fingers.

Twins

Last weekend, the planned mummy put up wasnt executed. We din go to the pet shop and youth park, but we ended up SHOP SHOP SHOP with Shila Kor Kor, Wilson teoh teoh, Ayden, Kakak Syanthi and Ah Ma.

Where to ?

We went to Queensbay on Sun with the main intention to develop your photo because Harvey Norman is having promos - 35cent/pc for 4r. Good deal ! Normal price is 60cent. As usual, Shila kor kor will not forego good deals. Ayden's photos are send in too. However, the shop run out of printing paper. Till today, your photos are not out and mummy cant wait to see them. This is the 1st time we develop your digital pictures to photo.

After Queensbay, we went to Giant, to get diapers. When we shopped around, we encounter people asking, "siang seh ar", "kembar ke"..... Ah Ma as "kuai ku" as ever, replied.... "ya, kembar" or "hah, siang seh". Thou you are bigger in size, but, people still reckon you are younger brother....

A gift from Uncle Chit

Uncle Chit wanted to send you this cutie picture and he is getting mummy's help. The puppies are cute but too late to have them, the real puppies - they are sold out. Do you like it ? Hopefully uncle chit can present real puppy instead of picture. I think you like it better. Uncle Chit, do you agree ?

Lullaby

These few days, putting you to sleep is a very easy task. Mummy doesnt have to pat you and sing lullabies while carrying you in my arm. I simply walk around the house and in less than 5 mins, you doze off.

Hope this sleeping pattern will remain forever.

Look at your best sleeping style. You like to close your eyes with your arm. While mummy was posting this blog, you and daddy were soundly asleep. Ok dokie, mie is tired for the day too. Hitting the bed now. Nite nite sweetie.

Your cheeky look

After taken you out from the fridge, mummy cleaned and changed you into your pyjamas. We were happily having our fun playtime. We both enjoyed ourself. Too bad, daddy isnt around to have fun together. He was still at work. I can resist to not take a picture of your cheeky look. I am loving you more each day... Muack Muack !

Dear Lynus,

After feeling bore with Barney, mummy bring you to experiment a new excitement. Feel new things. And guess what ? Look at the picture beside, do you know where were you place ? You are in a fridge !Cool ya. We put in the fridge yesterday nite.

You like it so much, feeling so great in the fridge. Look at your happy smile.

Don't disturb me

When I reach home after work yesterday, you were in your stroller. Sitting quietly with your concentration on the TV. Oh i see, there you are watching Barney. You were so focus on the purple dinosaur.

Your arrival

Hey boy, how do you find your look ? Ugly isnt it ? Most babies look like this when they arrive to this world. This is your look when you offspring from mummy. Daddy was so excited, and taken some pics of you, happily sending them to 'jiu jiu", "shu shu" and also kai mah.

You have kept us waiting for 16hrs after mummy's water bag burst at 7.30am on 1st Nov 06. Naughter you. Frens and family are so eager to see you but you "tarik harga". SMS, calls coming in asking for status and updates. On this very day, auntie Rie, was also here to witness your arrival. Mummy is glad you make it. If Dr Gan was to arrive earlier, you probably arrive earlier at 11.00pm instead of 11.02pm.

What amazed me most is your strength. Perhaps you know I wanted a natural delivery and you are cooperative ya. Your heart beat is always galloping. Well done Lynus ! Thou the process isnt a short one, mummy is proud you listen to our words, bringing yourself down to the birth canal and we made it naturally.

This morning, you finally turned over on your own without any help from ah ma, ah kong or mie mie. While waiting for Ah Ma to put on your nappy after your morning bath, you turn yourself and Ah Ma was so excited about it. Mie Mie was about to leave for work, but put a stop to it and taken 2 pics. Unfortunately, I can only post the pics after consulting Kai Mah on how to do it. I admit I am lazy to explore on my own and why work so hard if I can save my time getting Kai Mah's help. Oh ya sweetie, your sexy bum is in the pic.
